№ 01 — The Story

A chair for the neighborhood

Blade & Crown opened in 2014 with one chair, one mirror, and a rule we still keep: every cut should leave you looking like yourself, only sharper. No fast-food fades, no assembly-line beards — just clean work from people who take the trade seriously.

What started as a single-chair shop has grown into a four-chair room where regulars swap stories, first-timers get the consultation they deserve, and the radio plays too loud on purpose. We are not trying to be a lounge or a lifestyle brand. We are a barbershop that happens to make products worth taking home.

When we started blending our own pomades and oils, it was because we wanted the same standard in a bottle that we hold at the chair. That line — Classic Cut Pomade, Beard Oil No. 7, Matte Clay, Hot Towel Mist — is made in small runs, sold here first, and shipped to anyone who wants their bathroom shelf to look as good as their fade.

№ 02 — The Chair

Sit down. Talk it through. Get the cut.

Every appointment begins with a real conversation. We look at your hair, your growth pattern, and the shape of your head — not the photo on your phone — then build a cut that grows out well and lives in the real world.

The chair is where the shop earns its reputation. Straight razors are stropped by hand, hot towels are steamed fresh, and the pace is slow enough that the work is done right. If you are after a quiet, efficient trim, we respect that too.

Cut & Style

45 min consultation, clipper and shear finish, hot towel neck shave.

Beard Trim

Shape, line-up, and conditioning with shop-made Beard Oil No. 7.

The hands behind the work

Four chairs. Four distinct styles. One shared standard: the cut has to hold up for weeks, not just the walk home.

What we keep on the shelf

Real craft

Hand-finished cuts, straight-razor necklines, and products blended in small batches. No shortcuts through the chair.

Neighborhood pace

We book enough time to do the work right. Conversation is optional; quality is not.

Honest products

If we would not use it on a client, we do not sell it. Every bottle is tested in the shop before it reaches the store.

Clean shop

Tools are sanitized between every cut, towels are single-use, and the floor gets swept more often than it needs to.
